Part of the attraction of the North Yorkshire Moors is the bleakness of it's vast empty spaces. It is a place where you can wander in perfect solitude undisturbed except for the odd sheep or an occasional grouse. This was a very easy painting to do as I love the place so much. Spring evenings are the perfect time to visit and paint this incredible area.The original will be on display in the Cellar Gallery, Whitby in a couple of weeks.
