We have had a run of dull, gray days just recently.....just dull...not misty. There is a difference isn't there? Misty mornings have a certain romance about them holding out the promise of better things later on. But in the meantime the mist shrouds everything with an air of mystery. This is based on my watercolour and it is interesting to compare the two mediums. I've elaborated before on their relative strengths and weaknesses so suffice to say this time that they are intriguingly different. Here's a step by step of the painting: And with the joys of modern technology there's even a video......... .....that is the lot....promise! I hope you have more 'misty' than 'dull' days. 'Bye for now, Glenn.
